Account Executive – Digital Marketing

Commexis is looking for an Account Executive with digital marketing experience who will be responsible for day-to-day client interaction, strategic thinking and providing guidance to team members based on our clients needs. You will be the main voice between our team and our clients. Having a clear understanding of the digital strategy and the ability to report on it is critical to the success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize internal agency resources and teams to deliver best-in-class work for the client
  • Demonstrate confidence and authority as the day-to-day voice of the agency team
  • Effectively present the agency’s decisions, recommendations and creative to client audiences
  • Lead internal cross-functional project meetings and external client status meetings
  • Resolve challenges and opportunities in a clear, organized and efficient way to limit impact on client and internal resources
  • Manage departmental processes, oversee internal department accounting (billing, job codes, reconciliation), and manage internal project communication
  • Assemble, recommend, monitor budgets and expenses while managing realistic budget expectations for clients
  • Balance the dual expectations of the client and the agency
  • Identify organic business growth opportunities within the account
  • Work with leadership in the development of marketing proposals
  • Manage, execute and recap promotions associated with marketing initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing or related field
  • Minimum three years’ related marketing, digital marketing and website design experience–preferably within an agency environment
  • Project management experience
  • Digital marketing experience with web design, social, email, SEO and paid
  • Broad understanding of digital ecosystem
  • Strong writing skills for both consumer and client-facing communications
  • Ability to work both independently and within a cross-functional team environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation and project management skills
  • Expert client management and account management skills related to retaining, managing and growing long-term client relationships
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite programs (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
