Anthony Finuoli was a creative cornerstone of the Commexis team.

His sharp artistic mind, fast friendship and dedication to doing good work were a true and solid foundation on which we built our business and will continue to build our future.

Anthony was born January 4, 1958. Raised in Philadelphia, he was proud of his South Philly roots, sharing stories and insights about his old neighborhood often. His Philly pride could also be seen in his admiration for the city’s athletic teams. Whether it was the Eagles, Flyers or 76ers – Ant loved and supported his teams with palpable zest.

He was a true Renaissance man and creative dynamo. He loved music and could talk in-depth about a staggeringly varied array of musical genres. A skilled musician himself, he even sang and played with the worship team at his church and taught his grandson how to play guitar. He was also an artist who used his talented eye throughout an award-winning career as a creative innovator in the advertising industry and a movie buff who loved to talk about the films he enjoyed, particularly his favorite: The Pope of Greenwich Village.

With 40 years of experience in the marketing and advertising industry, Anthony’s creative direction was well-honed, and his advice always on-point.

Throughout his illustrious career, his titles ranged from art and creative director at major agencies to a long stint as owner and operator of his own small graphic design business before becoming the Senior Vice President of Creative at Commexis. All this experience made his skills at work numerous and formidable and his unique and bright personality shone through in everything he did, which made working with him an absolute privilege. An easy demeanor, contagious smile and friendly manner made a lasting impression when Anthony met with clients. An incomparable eye for color and design and an innate sense for catchy copy, often pulling tag lines out of thin air, made Ant more than just a valued member of the Commexis team – he was our fearless creative leader, design guru and dear friend.

More than anything, Anthony was a genuinely good person, indelible friend and deeply committed family man who loved his wife, stepson, daughter, son and daughter-in-law, grandchildren, mother and extended family and was devoted to them all.

Anthony Finuoli was uncommonly kind, uncommonly cool and uncommonly creative. He will be greatly missed by all those who had the honor of knowing, working with and befriending such a bright and unique man.

Commexis has been shaped by his vision, a vision that we will strive to honor as we continue to do work that would make him proud.
