Don’t wait until you’re sued to do something about ADA compliance.

The Americans with Disability Act (ADA) is a civil rights law signed in 1990, protecting Americans with disabilities from discrimination in any aspect of public life. These protections include provisions to ensure businesses, government buildings and any public or private space that is open to the public are accessible to those with disabilities.

With the advent of the internet, the ADA has been interpreted to also include web accessibility by the Department of Justice and United States courts, ensuring those with disabilities can easily access and navigate business websites.

Your site has to meet certain standards set by the Americans with Disabilities Act or you are at risk of legal action.

The ADA itself does not have specific guidelines about website accessibility, but the current standards used are established by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). The WCAG guidance ensures your website content is created and displayed in a way that makes it accessible to users who are blind, deaf or who use assistive technologies like screen readers or voice navigation to interact with your website.

Our expert web development team can review your site and complete a full compliance conversion, making sure your site is accessible and your business is safe.
